I have always been deeply engaged in music and writing. I majored in piano, guitar, writing, and theater arts in school. I received a Stegner Fellowship for fiction writing at Stanford University. I am a proud mother and grandmother. I perform, write, and play music in the Bay Area and beyond.
I also currently lead a band of fabulous musicians in my project, The Dead Sailor Girls.
